'Billy and Jim' (UK)
« on: Tuesday 02 April 19 23:13 BST (UK) »
Hi everyone.

I'm trying to identify a photo from an album that belonged to my great-grandmother.

I've (hopefully!) attached the photo in question, along with a scan of what was written on the back, as well as a separate photo for comparison.

I'm looking for opinions on:
- Whether the man on the left could be the same person as the man in the second photo
- The age of the man on the right
- Whether anything else jumps out that might help narrow things down

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

At a quick glance, I think that they are different people.

It also looks as though the 2 people are drinking out of some sort of trophy.

         Some sporting connection?

Hi JCH and welcome to Rootschat, I agree with Tomkin, I think it's unlikely that they are the same person.

I'm also looking at the shoes. The white shoes look like Golf shoes or some other sport?

also the left ear of the person sitting, looks more elongated than the 1st man whose ear

looks more rounded.  Of course it's difficult to tell from the pics :D :D :D

Or Tennis??

I don't think they are the same man, though with one side on and one face on it is harder to compare.
