Benjamin House, Southwark, Surrey
« on: Wednesday 03 April 19 07:01 BST (UK) »
A possible ancestor, William Deely, was made a freeman of the City of London around 1750, and his residence is listed as Benjamin House, Southwark. Anyone know how I can find out where this was?

Are you sure it's an address?  William Deely of St Saviours, Southwark, was apprenticed to Benjamin Horne in 1708 according to his Freedom of the City of London admission papers.
