Who am I?

I have two photographs believed to be dated 1920s and think that she is dressed in Character for a stage performance at Hull New Theatre. I don't know whether it is because I have looked at it so many times, but I feel that I should know who she is.
Any ideas please?

Peggy Ashcroft comes to mind for some unknown reason.  I can't find a good enough likeness though.  Not much help I'm afraid.

Have you looked at the Wikipedia page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hull_Repertory_Theatre_Company

It has a list of actors appearing in the 20's - some have pictures and there is one or two who might fit.  One of which is Colette O Neil (real name Lady Constance Malleson).

I saw Peggy Ashcroft in Othello  at Manchester Opera House.
The cast was wonderful.
Orson Welles,as Othello
Peter Finch as Iago
Peggy Ashcroft as Desdemona.
When Othello was strangling Desdemona on the “bed” , makeshift platform draped with material, he banged her head so hard it resounded round the theatre.
When taking curtain calls he apologised .
This was a Saturday matinee,we were doing it at school and it would be about 19 50 ‘ish.
