Alexander McFarlane Dickson

I am researching the above person who emmigrated from Scotland to NZ in 1909.  He came to the UK with the NZ Army in 1917 and returned to NZ in 1919.  He married in 1920 and died in 1966.  I have copies of his army service papers and found where I can obtain copies of his marriage and death certificates.  What other records might be available for this man and is it possible to obtain copies of any documents?

On his New Zealand Army WWI Nominal Rolls, 1914-1918 entry it gives his mother Mrs H McFarlane as next of kin and her address Trossacks Rd Perthshire
In the 1914 electoral roll he was living at Skinner rd Stratford, Taranaki, occupation farmer
