Searching for Ernest Newton in 1911
« on: Saturday 06 April 19 12:52 BST (UK) »
I'm searching for Ernest Newton (b. Caister 1890 - 1971) in 1911. I can't find him in the census. Can you help please?

In the 1901 census, aged 11, he was with his family at 138 Wellsby Street, Clee, Grimsby, Lincolnshire.

In June 1912 at Lowestoft Church he married Edith Kerrison. (She was in service in Norfolk in 1911.)

In 1917 on joining the army he gave his address as 9 Olive Rd, Gt Yarmouth (18 Gatacre Road was crossed out).

Both Ancestry and The Genealogist have transcribed his name as Wenton.
