New York Passenger List for John Looby - born 1903 Cashel Co Tipperary - aged 25 years -    Cobh, Ireland to New York on the Adriatic - single. farm labourer - father Mr John Looby Barretstown, Fethard, Co Tipperary.  Aunt Mrs George Rowan. 403 East 82 Street NY - length of intended stay in USA was 10 years.

Possible - SSDI shows a John Looby  born 19 November 1903 - passed away January 1972 - last residence - Last Residence:    10028 New York.
Would need further investigation because there was another john Looby born in New York 1902 - perhaps an exact date of birth in Ireland would help.

Names of daughters, son-in-laws and grandchildren

He was the only child born to George Joseph Rowan and Marion Donnelly Rowan on July 2, 1931 in Manhattan, NY. George and his family moved to Springfield Gardens (Queens), New York when he was a child. Like his father, he attended Saint Ann’s Academy for Boys in New York City. ....etc etc
