Hi again, on what type of record have you Miles as a Woolcomber & Manufacurer of Knit Hosiery residing Askrigg, as the Miles/Margaret with the c birth years you show has Miles as a Farmer in census?

Hi, sorry I havent made a note of where I seen the occupation. I think it may have been on a dales website.

Nothing I have on the Littles is 100 % as yet so this may be incorrect.

OK let's find out which child of Miles/Margaret are you related to, and how did you know the maiden name of Margaret was Harker?

EDIT Peggy Little was buried 17th April 1857 Askrigg Spouse Miles.

Just from another tree, but haven't Confirmed, if I have it correct it is Miles son Thomas little, then Thomas daughter eleanor little.

Eleanor 1845-1905 married my 2nd great grandfather Matthew Charlton 1842-1915

The wife of Matthew Charlton is shown as Eleanor Little bc.1849 Delves, Durham - her parents Thomas Little and Jane per census - looks like she was actually registered as Ellen and her mmn Sim.

Thomas Little is shown bc.1809 Crosshill, Falstone, Northumberland and he was baptised 30/4/1809 Falstone, son of Adam and Ann.

Thomas Little married Jane Sim 24/11/1834 Newcastle, Northumberland - eldest child Jane born Newcastle but rest of them born in Delves, Durham although seems that those born before Eleanor did not have their births registered (as far as I can see).

So, Thomas was born in Northumberland son of an Adam so nothing to do with a Miles Little in Askrigg??

Adam Little married Ann Davidson 28/11/1807 Falstone, Northumberland.

1841 Census shows Adam Little bc.1781 Scotland and wife Ann bc.1786 Northumberland.
