Looking at the passenger list......

If one looks at the previous page, there is a list of entirely different names but the same occupations as shown for the passengers on the page with the sisters. I think the line down the middle might be a tear in the page the sisters are on and 1/2 of their page is missing.

PB

Added: the ship they travelled on actually landed at St John New Brunswick. They would have travelled inland by train from there.

I don't think I would have ever figured that out; great detective work!  I just took a look at other pages, and earlier in the manifest there is a half page with what looks like burnt edges, so something bad happened to the book!
I grabbed the port  and date info from the index  at Anc. instead of the Archives; I should know better  ::)

The 3 daughters, Emily, Elizabeth and Minnie were all domestic servants in different parts of the country.
I was getting hung up finding Emily, as I couldn't find one with a birthplace that matched.
I'm starting to think she added the middle name Barbara when she arrived in Canada, unless it was a name given at baptism, and never used?  I think this is her birth:
First name(s)   EMILY
Last name   WILDING
Birth year   1881
Birth quarter   2
Registration month   -
Mother's maiden name   Harris
District   Hay
County   Breconshire
Country   Wales
Volume   11B
Page   149

Also, no point in moving the thread now, the folks from the Canada board have found you!

That is so much more than I can ever of hoped, a bit confused regarding the obituary saying she settled with her parents , maybe it was with her fiancee's parents,  such personal onformarion, i guess the grandchildren mention in the obituary would be in their 70's now the same as my mother - thank you so much - Richard
James, Jinks - Stoke On Trent,  Richards, Rees, Morgans - Llandilofawr, Llangadock, Wilding- Hereford, Underwood, Sitch, Thorne, Day all West Ham, and Leytonstone. .
