Thanks for the link, *Sandra*

Someone may correct me but if I've worked out the relationships correctly, she would be your mother's 2nd cousin. And your 3rd cousin, I think.

It's a great deal to absorb considering where you started from a couple of days ago.

a bit confused regarding the obituary saying she settled with her parents ,

Reference:  Sandra's finding at https://www.newspapers.com/clip/30462032/mrs_albert_moore/

I think whoever gave the information, possibly a grandchild, just made a bad assumption.
I wouldn't go on a wild goose chase over it!

Also, no point in moving the thread now, the folks from the Canada board have found you!

Now I just feel silly.... the thread was moved!  I was just linking to it through my email notifications, and didn't notice.  ::)

I can't remember if I mentioned this somewhere, but just for general interest, there was a snippet in the Ottawa Journal that I read last night, about Barbara having twins, one boy, one girl.

Also, in the info supplied by Dbree in post #22, I think it could be Heney St., not Henry St.  No big deal, but it is always fun to google view the maps to see if the houses are still there.  On the cemetery records, Emily Moore lived at 85 Heney St.  when she passed ,   Elizabeth Moore lived at 49 Heney St. and William Howard Moore (born Wales) 79 Heney St. gardener. They definitely liked Heney St!
Albert Cecil Moore (born Wales), who remarried, was at 384 Laurier East, a gardener.
Hopefully these addresses match all the obituaries posted!
