Are you a member of Devon Family History Society?
In the members' only area of the website http://www.devondb.co.uk/devonfhs/members-area/misc-docs.jsp there are images of some Brixham Newspapers including 1940 and there is a report of the funeral in the 14th March 1940 paper. page 12 of 24: March: 1940-0066
Thanks. Pending joing the fb group.
Which paper Terry?
I'll go over to Torquay and try to find it.
Unless anyone can send a screen shot?

If anyone is following this, I did go to Torquay library today, and was able to find the report of Fred R. Tucker's funeral, in the Western Morning News, 14th March, 1940.

However, I failed to locate the WMN 12 May 1942, which covered the funeral of his brother, Garnet Tucker, who was killed on his fishing boat by a bomb in Brixham's outer harbour.
