Alfred Henry Flood Harfield
« on: Friday 12 April 19 06:37 BST (UK) »
I am looking for any information on this interesting character. Born in 1851 son of Isabella Phillips and John Jenkins Purse Harfield. Baptism at St Marys Portsea. His father was a fisherman and died young. Alfred was sent to Wandsworth prison for 1 month for stealing in 1866 then sent to Philanthropic School in Redhill (reform school). We believe that he ended up in the Army.?
Any assistance greatly appreciated. Thank You David
