Their address at at 1939 was 67 Mortlake Road, I think it might come under Custom House.
 
Nanny J , it is a big ask and nice of you to offer to be honest,   West Ham, Canning Town and Custom House have quite a few churches, I don't want you to spend to much time on my behalf but a nice gesture

I think Custom House and Canning Town are the best bets, it would be a church of England not Baptist or Methodist churches, I do feel under the circumstances it might be a register office as they were probably well known in the area having lived there for so many years

Poor Moses died on 4th Feb, I would assume the marriage would be after that as Elizabeth was free

She should be Elizabeth Hodgekiss, father George Mitchell, dec.

I am really sorry folks, I previously put this on Rootschat in 2015, I had forgotten, but this cert received proves as sometime before 1935 Elizabeth must have been living with Patrick, E.Kelly is informant on her mother's death cert


"Elizabeth's mother has E. Kelly daughter as her informant on her death cert received today,  so Elizabeth Ann Mitchell married Moses Hodgekiss and then must have left him for Patrick Kelly whom it looks as if she married some years after this certificate"
