I should add that the OP (welcome to Rootschat!) or someone related to them has said elsewhere that the marriage was in 1901 and as Agnes Hickey (no Bridget)

Looks like she shared a birthday with Queen Victoria (24 May).

I agree re Bridget Hickey, 3 b Lambeth, in 1881 as a person of interest.

The teenagers in the household, Ellen and William Hogan, look likely to be half-siblings, and are with mother Ellen Hogan (married) and younger sister Eliza in Lambeth in 1871: RG10/656/78/26.

My grandmother married Robert John Siggery on 3rd August 1901 at Merton in Surrey.

I found her under her married name in 1911, I have no trace of her under her maiden name of Hickey. I have no birth certificate but her marriage certificate states that she was born in Westminster, her father John was a builder.

I'll check out further replies and get back.

Thanks

Thanks for all the help so far.

I like the look of Bridget in the 1881 census with father and mother John and Ellen and also the 1875 possible marriage.

I will be checking further into these.

Thanks

You have put:
'marriage certificate states that she was born in Westminster,'

where does it state this, please?

Sorry, I was wrong about the birth place being on the marriage certificate it came from the census return.

Now I have to try to prove that the Hickey family in Lambeth are the right family.

Thank you

I aslo have to continue to try to find my grandmothers birth, possibly in about 1878 in Lambeth.
