trying to find Olive Kathleen Brown (Conner) and Arthur J Brown

 Trying to locate in Lincolnshire a couple - Olive Kathleen Brown (Conner) b1900 and Arthur J Brown b 1899, they were born in London, they married in 1926 Staines Middlesex  and in 1939 were living at 23, Elm Grove, Hornsey Middlesex. They later moved to Lincolnshire because family remember them living in a Lincolnshire village that had a windmill (ha ha which ones don't). They think that Arthur died around 1960 and Olive later by about 10 yrs or so but the death dates are not certain.

I have tried BMD website but am unable to find two deaths in the same area and family are quite sure that Olive didn't move after Arthur died.. but again they can't be certain..

Family have very fond memories of Olive when they were children and would like to return to visit the village where they lived...

I have recently had some success finding Olives Parents in London so I hope someone can help on this occasion too.

It may help to find them if you can give us their dates of birth, they should be on 1939 register

Arthur (Not sure what J stands for) Brown  14th October 1899

These are my brother in laws family, he was born in 1957 and remembers visiting them as a child around 10 yrs old... the Olive who died in 1995 is far too late as he was only a child when she died... the Arthur died 1975 in Sleaford sounds more promising, although Stuart (my Bro in Law) cant remember him being at home with olive when he was young... but that is not surprising in a child..

Thanks, I will send for a death cert for Arthur to make sure... Pity they weren't living in scotland... quicker and easier to get certification

The GRO index has an Arthur Joseph Brown b. Dec qtr 1899 Pancras R D which would fit with the quoted birthdate and a London birthplace. Mother's maiden name Merrifield.
