  I think the 12th is a Sunday this year, so that will vary things a bit! I presume that is why the date is always the same, so different activities crop up.

I have just checked that I can participate as I live in Australia.
As mentioned, it will be a Sunday so some variation in normal activities....

Yes,  agree, in Australia the Second Sunday of May is known as Mothers Day.   Around 36 weeks before that is around the first Sunday in September which, in Australia, is known as Fathers Day

Thanks for the reminder... I enjoyed submitting my days activities,thoughts over the last couple of years and will do so again this year.

I'd love to read the entries that are sent in I'm sure they'd be really interesting. Your own can sometimes feel quite mundane but may be of great interest to others!

Yes, sometimes SO mundane that I have to do a bit of reflection on yesterday, or preparation for tomorrow!!

Threlfallyorky, I am sure whatever seemingly mundane things we might do will likely become fascinating to any direct or indirect descendants in the future.   

Just to illustrate, one of our local museums (Beamish) offers 'experience' events such as dressing up and living as a day in the life of a pit wife or a Georgian maid, etc.  I bet none of the real women back then would ever have envisaged people of the future paying good money to participate in their 'boring' daily activities.
