surname crossed out

hi, i have found one my relatives in 1939...i know she married her her husband and had the last name Floyd, now on the 1939 census it has her name crossed out from floyd and wrote over ith the surname inns. can someone please explain to be what this means. thank you.

Possibly her husband died or they divorced & she re married.

Was her maiden surname HUNT?
