Lew Szoszkies (aka Shoskes)
« on: Monday 15 April 19 15:30 BST (UK) »
Lew Szoszkies was a Polish Airman in WW2.  After the War he moved to the USA top rejoin his parents who were living in New York City and in 1983 he died whilst on a trip to Canada.  I have written his biography and would like to pass it on to his family if there are any still living.  For ease of pronunciation, he changed the spelling to Shoskes.  If anyone can put me in touch - please do

He was living in Toronto when he passed away in 1983 according to his obituary.  Wife M and son D (not allowed to list names of living people on this forum).  Brother of M in New York.

Lew was also the president of Panasonic Canada at least until 1982. I find reference to him working for the firm right through the 1970s.

Believe his son is a Toronto-trained urologist now working at the Cleveland clinic:

There is a ancestry tree with him listed, have you contacted the owner of that tree.
If you google the son, many articles and contact addresses for him.

Thank you ladies for your help.  Lots of websites but not a single email address.  However, I do have his office address so I will do it the old fashioned way and contact him by snail mail.  It would be a shame not to publish this man's biography and a bigger shame if his son did not see it.  There is no profit involved as I am doing this at my own expense.  Thank you for your help.

Neville, there is an email contact page, go to the link in reply#1 and click on 'Cleveland Clinic page'.
There is an envelope logo r-h side of the page, click on that and your email will open.

Good luck, keep up the great work!

That leads to an email message pad but when you put a message in there, you still have to add a valid email address - which I don't have!  So I presume this is for multiple email addresses and is only for a limited number of people to use - like a private message service between professionals
