The children in this census are shown as the illegitimate children of Mary Maher. Richard is their uncle.

Mary above died May 1922 so cant be his next of kin on 1922 census

Hey Daithi,
I always thought that this family in Tinahely was my family. James Maher was down as born in 1891 but my g grandfather was born around 1901.

I am going to Tipperary this weekend.
I have gotten all the info i think oiut of my mother so its down to my aunts and uncles for more information.
My mother did tell me tonight that there was step children but who she didn't know.

I hope you can get the sibling names and years of birth. That would help.
The names you mention occur in the Redbog family but it is Frederick who is more difficult to trace.
It is no use speculating but perhaps Mary married after 1911  :-\
