Grace Gracey KNEALE b 1868
« on: Thursday 18 April 19 10:06 BST (UK) »
Grace Gracey Kneale was born in the Isle of Man in 1868. In 1895 she married Robert LEARY at South Hetton Durham.
I can see Grace in the 1891 census taken in I. O. M.
I am hoping someone can help me with information about her movements between 1891 and 1895.

Assistant school mistress in 1891 - perhaps she got a teaching post in Durham??

It's basically a guessing game between censuses

On Family Search there is a birth for an Edward Stephen Kneale born 27th August 1891 to a Grace Kneale in Douglas IOM. Sadly he died aged four months on the 23rd January 1892 and was buried three days later in Douglas IOM. They had been living at 1 Spring Gardens, Douglas IOM. Could be your Grace.
Regards.

Thank you Carole and Jen.
You have provided me with an unexpected twist to the story of Grace Kneale.
It still remains a puzzle how Grace came to end up in Durham
Again many thanks for you support
