Handwriting help please

Hi can someone please help me to read what these two occupations say.

I can make out '______ machine worker' i think on the top one. Not sure what the bottom one says though.
Tuzio, Verrechia, Quaglieri, Squires, Matthews, Totten, Cooke, Hill

'Sewing machine worker'  and Pearl button driller??

Looking at the full page for the 1871 Census (RG10: Piece 3122/ Folio 22/ Pg37)  it's definitely "maker" not "worker" in William's job description. I also see from their Marriage record (William Matthews and Elizabeth Lewis? 1869?) and the 1881 Census that I think is them - he was a Brass Founder?

I think he probably worked  in that capacity for one of the Sewing Machine manufacturers active in Birmingham at that time:

One of those manufactuers is particularly interesting:
Charles & William Harwood c1855 - 1872 +
as he had a retail premises at New Town Row by 1872 -1876+

and New Town Row is where your William and Elizabeth are living in 1871.

Thank you that is very interesting and all those Census records are ones i have been looking at today and double checking if they are the same people and you have probably just confirmed it for me.
