date born?

Hello

Can anyone e work out what date in January this relative was born? I had thought it was the 31st but this looks more like 17th to me - what do people think?

I think it maybe Nineteenth but to be sure I would need to see a bigger sample, particularly one containing another capital N. It is unusual. What is the date of Registration?
Have you tried to find a Baptism record, they sometimes include a DOB.

there are no Capital N' on the certificate but here is another part that says

No, I meant the date in the column before the Registrar's name and after the Informant's name and address.

Before I read macwil’s reply, I thought it was “Nineteenth”.  The first letter is questionable, but I can clearly see “ineteenth” .

I keep trying to fit Thirteenth in but I just cannot see an 'r' in there. And the 'Th' of Thomas is nothing like the beginning of the word in question.
So I'm sticking with 'Nineteenth'.

Dhrrr! of course you did! sorry, it was late. 4th March - so no help really.
