KSLI 1943 in Ludham Norfolk.
« on: Friday 19 April 19 08:42 BST (UK) »
My dad is a war baby and were trying to locate any information about his dad.. All we know is that he was at RAF Ludham in Norfolk during WW2 1943.
My nan passed and just before she passed she told dad that his dad was with KSLI which we think is Kings Shropshire Light Infantry and his name we think was K Beaumont but we don't know how Beaumont is spelt and what the K stands for..

Any help would be gratefully received

From your nan's name it will be possible to find her marriage to Mr Beaumont, that will provide a starting place.

The Army seem to have had their own camp at Ludham away from the RAF station:
