Ewart family
« on: Friday 19 April 19 12:41 BST (UK) »
The furthest I have back in my Sutherland line is:

James Ewart my 9gg (maybe hopefully possibly) born around 1620 in Scotland.. :)

and married at around 1637 to Jonnet Kennedie

Now all I want to do is find more about what is going on in and around him at that time and if possible where he lived and if he was involved in the Battle of Dunbar  etc..

anything would be good..

I have that he has a son David born 1650  ?!!

and then -----  David goes on to marry an Isobell Simpson and they
have Margaret Ewart 1682 who is my next link, she marries a  John Black and then they have Isobel Black 1705 who marries John Edgar and then John is the father of George 1738 who is the father of my Penelope... and on and down to me.. :)  now I have searched this lot for years and have docs to take the line through from SP  so hopefully all correct - but with spelling etc maybe there are errors...
So anything that can be added to this line would be lovely..
