Hello,

The 1881 England Census (RG11/1524/86, p.9) states that George HANCOX is a "Pensioner Greenwich (Navy)".   Despite extensive research, TNA etc., I can find no references to any naval service   His enlistment would have been post-19/06/1861 after he was discharged on licence from Parkhurst Prison.

Can anyone help please?
