Depends what you are looking for  - although they all have the censuses and Ancestry and FindMyPast has the 1939 register. Everybody has their own preference, so you are best looking for free trials to compare them. For instance Ancestry has a free trial this weekend.

This question comes up a lot on here and there is no real answer as it depends on what you are looking for. For example I find that in the areas of interest to me that Findmypast is better than the others so why not have a look at all 3 of them and use their free search or see what databases they have that could be of interest to you.
