They didn’t get back to Quebec until July 1909 so i guess they may have visited relatives for a few months.

Miss S Jones could well be David’s youngest sister Sarah. I knew she moved to Wales in 1913 (after her marriage in 1911 and birth of her first child, both in Patagonia) but assumed that was her first trip to the UK. Maybe the journey in 1909 was to see what she thought of Wales before making a decision. Have to admit I didn’t think they had much money, so all these journeys are a surprise.

DB, thanks for the passenger list..... details not exactly right as David was born in England (to Welsh parents), sister Sarah in Patagonia, and son Morris / Maurice in Canada 

Quite a distance from Patagonia (Puerto Madryn where they sailed from previously) to Montevideo to start their journey

Yes, the birth details on that passenger list are off.

There is a UK Outward Passenger List Jan. 24, 1907 from Liverpool to Port Madryn on the ship
Galicia
David P. Jones, male, adult, farmer
Sillia Jones, female, adult
Morris Jones, male, child
Stephen Jones, male, child

Just above David, is a Humphrey P. Jones, male, adult, also a farmer. A relation?

DB that’s brilliant thank you so much. Humphrey is David’s father, but we didn’t know he ever left Patagonia (after he emigrated).

Deidre, back in your post #8, you included a link for the Numidian, which was full of Jones and others leaving Patagonia to go to Saltcoats, Saskatchewan.  I am hoping that you noticed at the top of the page, there is a link to a photo of these people, followed by a narrative on their moving away from Patagonia:
