Does anyone know if there are any patients records from Stafford Mental Hospital My Gt Aunt Doris Fieldhouse was a patient there from the 1930s till the 1970s I never knew of Doris till well after her death and find it so sad that if I had known I could have visited her Thank you

You could also try contacting Staffordshire Record Office.

Modified as St George's Hospital is still functioning, although not in the same building.  Therefore I would think that any records would be with NHS.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
