I don’t have anything on Joyce, did a search on free cen, nothing was obvious.
If her husband was born in 1916, chances are she would not show up in any census unless she was several years older than he was.

Your best move is to get a copy of the marriage certificate. It won't tell you very much, but it will tell you the name and occupation of her father and maybe her age. Without some more information about her you're unlikely to find her death.

https://probatesearch.service.gov.uk has a Joyce Fairgrieve, date of death 30 Nov 2013.

There was also an acknowledgement in the Border Telegraph on 23 January 2013, obviously a different Joyce Fairgrieve, but this must be the Joyce Fairgrieve, other surnames Dickson and McNeill, whose death at the age of 86 was registered in Galashiels in 2013.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

Thanks for the additional information, I do have the surname McNeill which is connected to the Fairgrieve’s.
