Charlotte was James' eldest daughter and she married Henry WIGMORE in 1859 at Port Sorell.

She and her daughter died in 1863.

Henry then married her sister Catherine in Victoria in 1864 and she died in 1876.

Charlotte and Catherine were both baptised in Sydney.

Henry then married the third sister Isabella in 1877 in Victoria and she died in Queensland in 1902.

If James died, 1861, and wife Mary died 1864, any small children would have been brought up by.....who?

When Mary Ann died in 1864 she had five younger children still living.....Isabella, 14, James, 12, Ellen Matilda, 10, Kilner Richard, 8, and Henry William, 4.

There was a problem with placing Kilner Richard and this document tells you where each of the children went...

Kilner went from Joseph JONES to James WADSLEY at Newtown in 1868.

Thank you Debra - that's some amazing research you've done. I didn't even realise those records existed.

Mary Ann Buckley and James Buckley are my great, great grandparents. I would like to communicate with other descendants from this ancestral line.
