19th Survey Company, Royal Engineers - WW1
« on: Friday 26 April 19 11:58 BST (UK) »
I'm trying to help someone who's ancestor was in the 19th Survey Company, Royal Engineers, during WW1, and he wondered if there were any War Diaries available?

I'm not very good at searching the Ancestry War Diaries, so I've failed to find anything, but if anyone could help/give me a link, we'd be very grateful.

Thanks

See https://www.longlongtrail.co.uk/army/regiments-and-corps/the-corps-of-royal-engineers-in-the-first-world-war/the-field-survey-companies-of-the-royal-engineers/

There would be no diary for the element that remained in UK.  The diary that appears to include 46 Advanced Park is :
https://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/details/r/C4557870
but has not been digitised.

It is with great difficulty I share with you that in the early hours of 07 August 2021, Maximilian passed away unexpectedly but peacefully.
