Colebrook/Peacey Children.. Who's your Mummy.?!

I have no idea where to put this, so I'll plonk it here and hope it ends up where it should be.

Working on my Colbeck/Colebeck/Coulbeck/Colbrook/Colebrook/Colebrooke line.. I have Ernest Colbrook married to Nellie Peacey in 1914 and John Colbrook married to Evelina Peacey in 1920. As a result I have 4 Colbrook children whose mother's maiden name was Peacey and no idea which child belongs to which mother. I have no birth dates otherwise I'd look for birth certificates.

Is there a way to find out.?

The short answer is no, you have to send for a cert or two. I had a case like this where there were two weddings between two sets of rare surnamed people - but I had the advantage that they were very close in age, I sent for the middle one which was my POI, problem solved for just £7, not £28.

Have you looked for the families on the 1939 to see if any are redacted? (Parents should be there plus any born up to 1918). If they live in a UKBMD county sub-districts will be given & may help.

Found it now 1919 to Eveline Pacey
War Record of Marriage has her as Evelyn.

So according to FreeBMD we have;
Winifred 1915
Mary 1919
Jack 1920
Evelyn 1926
Ernest W 1928

So those are definitely the children of ERNEST/NELLIE

So Bessie 1925 and Alma 1930 may be John W Colbrook's children.

JOHN WILLIAM Colebrook died  15 April 1930, buried 16 Apr 1930 age 43
ALMA Colbrook buried 04 Jun 1934 age 4

As you likely know Eveline remarried William BOON 1930

So in last Census available Mary Abbot is Ernest/Nellies Daughter. She married Peter L Abbott 1939
