« on: Saturday 27 April 19 12:01 BST (UK) »
An appeal for relatives of a UK serviceman's body found in Italy.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-manchester-48072589

They want to find living relatives so DNA tests can be done, once identified the body will be buried with full military honours.

I am assuming this is WW2.?
There were British service men in Italy in WW1,Vera Brittain’s
brother was killed there.
Have any more details been given?
Viktoria.

That's usually my problem. I found an old school report [from the 1950s] that said 'she should think more before acting' - I was probably under 10!! I haven't changed yet  ;D ;D

Mine usually said “ Could  do better”!
But when I did I was questioned as to why I had done better than one of the school’s “ Great White Hopes”!
Can’t win can you ;D
