Apologies to anyone able to help as I had a senior moment.  John  Rigby is of course William's son and it is William's parents I am seeking.  Thanks for the replies so far.

There are possible burials for children of William and Margaret
William Rigby buried 31 Jul 1777 Kirkby Chapel
Peter Rigby buried 29 Jan 1788 Kirkby Chapel age 15 months

So far haven't been able to find baptism for William. Most baptisms are from the Manchester area. Could he have been born there?
