There is a marriage for Catherine Jones to John Lamb - York, Ontario - 13 September 1887
parents John Jones and Elizabeth.  ??? Witnesses Henry F and Mary Partridge.
John Lamb 23 years old. Parents Richard Lamb and Jane Lamb.
Catherine Jones 24 years old. Parents John Jones and Elizabeth Jones.

Thank you Sandra - interesting info about John's family.  I am in contact with another family member (the granddaughter of his sister) who will like to know this also. I am pretty sure that no-one in the Lamb family in the UK knew what finally happened to John, and about his sons.  He was left £500 in the will of his father in 1901, but don't know whether or not this would get to him.
