What was this person's occupation on the 1910/20/30/40 census?

Only listed in the 1940 census as a result of emigrating from the UK in 1931. She was listed a waitress.

Nooo!  Look harder at that census!
Beatrice is listed as a waitress, but look at all the other people on the page, and the page heading!
They are all working at an institution (horribly mangled spelling on her death registration).

I can't make out the name of the place, but judging by the number or ward aides and practical nurses, it is some kind of hospital.  I think I can see the word "children" in
it.
