Yes, have just received the same.....29.95 introductory offer for an early take up of the upgrade......looks a worthwhile upgrade with a number of cloud based services added which look very useful including a FTM CONNECT service which allows family and friends to view your tree including all the media and record sources for free for the first year then a small annual charge after

I have also received the upgrade information.  I had a subscription to FTM, but about 12 months ago my computer crashed and although I had a backup copy of my family tree, I lost all the FTM program files.  I am wondering if I bought this upgrade, would I be able to install it successfully when I have none of the original FTM program files?

I thought the offer seems fair but wondered if anyone else had heard anything!

I have ordered it, but when ordering, I was put through the usual "would you like this as well. etc, etc, etc" The usual extras would certainly run the cost of the upgrade up if you were to purchase some, or all of them.

Me, I am a grippy Aberdonian, so only paid for the basics. I will just have to wait now, and see what materialises in the Summer time.

I did contact their support this morning regarding whether the CONNECT SERVICE would display the MEDIA content (record sources, documents pictures etc) in a tree, a flaw with the current syncing to the ANCESTRY ONLINE TREE if you haven't got a subscription, and they said that you can access ALL the content in a tree on their new service...the CLOUD BASED SERVICES look worth the UPGRADE on their own if that's the case.....I have signed up although I don't like this cheaper introductory offer....puts you under a bit of pressure to buy....fingers crossed....have been happy with FTM and previous versions when they finally got it up and running

The problem is, with the new 2019 update, and possibly future ones, how long will the 2017 version be supported?
