Dear All, Yes, there are a few typos about when we read the 1925 immigration record as the James Shaw Fraser family stayed at the "Free Manse" with the Minister when they run out of space at home. Also "Dalcross" is the local district name but these are small points in the passing. Yes, I have looked at two or three of newspapers death reports for Frasers but that will take some time unless the Grandniece has a few bright ideas on the subject.

Again many thanks for your efforts, nw_whiskers

Dear All, The Military Cross was awarded to Lieut. A. R. Fraser 13th Battalion Tank Corps, as Tank Commander near Hallu on 10 Aug 1918. Lieut. Fraser is the son of Mr and Mrs J. S. Fraser, Kinbrace, Sutherland which is correct by the Census info as they were there for many years. I hope that this clears up the point that was made in one of the earlier posts.

Many thanks, nw_whiskers.

I was just tracking that around!  I don't know if this will give you anymore information than what you already have, but maybe ask the Archives what all is in here:

Dear bbart, The 3 Aug 1911 arrival in Canada of Hugh Alex Fraser is a great find for his Fraser relatives as he was the one they new "least about" but was seen as the eldest of the siblings. It gives his life span in Canada a very worthwhile dimension which pleases us greatly.

Many thanks for your valued work, nw_whiskers

It is fairly certain that Adam Robertson Fraser returned to the UK by 1939 but we are not sure if there are "departure records" for Canada. Yes, we have been on the Canada "arrivals database" with good success. Many thanks for your thoughts, nw_whiskers

The Hugh Alexander Fraser born 1882 at Invertromie, Kingussie, Scotland grandchildren might be interested in seeing an image of his sister Edith J Fraser who sadly pre deceased him by more than two decades. nw_whiskers
