Prison Admission 1830
« on: Friday 03 May 19 21:35 BST (UK) »
Hi,

I'm struggling to understand what is written in this prison admission for one of my ancestors.

The first is his complexion, it seems swarthy was crossed out and replaced with another word that I am unsure of.

Secondly, something about the right side of his forehead, a laceration maybe?

Thank you in advance.

I think the first word is "florid" and the second is "wen", a cyst.

I agree with florid. I saw 'horid' at first. Florid is very different to swarthy.
