Hi Bert...I think this photo has been worked and over sharpened previously, noticeable by the white halo effect on parts of the image....if you look at the paving stones and the area around the feet you can see it has had work done to it. It is always advisable where possible to post the original. However, I did enjoy bringing colour to your treasured photo  :)

When we got the photo , there was a huge crease in the lower left hand corner  (when the flagstones are)  I tried to hide the crease, but it distorted the flagstone pattern.   Next time I will enclose the original and the enhanced version and let the restorers decide which works best for them
     Also a huge "shout out " to John-76 for his great work on this photo.
           The Yaxley family lived in England, ( the Midlands area) and loved to holiday in Llandudno Wales, where this was taken.    I love the rustic bench which Thomas is sitting on.  I looks like it was fashioned from huge tree branches.   Once again , much thanks,  Bert
