Queenie M M Ayres
« on: Saturday 04 May 19 22:39 BST (UK) »
Hello,
Can anyone help please.
I am trying to find any information on Queenie M M Ayres, she married Ronald Davies in 1940 in Hereford.
I think they may have divorced and she married Ludwik Koza in 1948 in Hereford, i believe they went to America but can find no record of her apart from marriages .
I do not have the marriage certs.

Thanks in advance

Welcome to Rootschat

Her surname is spelt as Ayers on the marriage entry.

At least 2 children born to the marriage who may still be living

Any possibility she was previously married prior to 1940?

Hello

Thank you for the welcome.
I'm sorry i have  no idea when or where  she was born, i do know she had a daughter in 1941, who was bought up by her grandmother  (Ronalds mother) after Queenie  left her in Hereford. Ronald was in the Army but i can find no army records for him.

I have only just found the marriage to Ludwik  but i do know that her daughter visited her in America in the 80s or 90s .

There is no one living to ask about her and i don't know where to look.

A copy of the 1940 marriage cert will give her age and her fathers name and occupation.  There is no birth under Ayers or Ayres  in England/Scotland or Wales so she may have been born in Ireland or perhaps abroad

Thank you  both so much for the information.
I don't have access to Ancestry, but will do some more research with the information given.
Jinksie.
