COMPLETED. Thank you all. Kitty who died 22 nov 1920
« on: Sunday 05 May 19 08:53 BST (UK) »
This Is Kitty. She died of Typhoid Fever at 2pm on 22 November 1920 at Kings College Hospital, London.
The two letters we have regarding her illness and then her death were written by two young doctors, comtemporaries of my Grandfather, to whom they were written. My grandfather was 23 at this time. So we assume she was a similar age. We think there was a romantic connection between Kitty and GF.

We know , from the letters, she had a sister

It seems there may well be records at Kings College Archives but I need a name as I will have to pay someone to go and look for me.

Can anyone think of a way to narrow down the possible deaths in that quarter to a more managable number of names bearing in mind Kitty could be a nickname for almost anything!

We have 3 other photographs that were with this one, that we believe are her, but this is the only one that has been signed.  (and is dated 1917)

Hi

"We know , from the letters, she had a sister"
Is there a name for the sister?

"but this is the only one that has been signed.  (and is dated 1917)"
Signed in whose name?

I am assuming that KCH is/was in Lambeth reg district.
Anyone know?

Yes, the hospital is, and was then, under Lambeth.

I haven’t seen any suitable Kitty/Catherines etc for that date.  But, as you say, Kitty could just be a nickname.

I think she looks like a pin-up in that photo.  Are the other photos similar?

ADDED  Just seen above post.
