Help please to date photo of Group aboard a ship

Seems to me there's something not quite right about this photo.  Is it possible it's a collage of images?  The main group look like they could have been superimposed on another photo with the three people in the background and the ship, or perhaps the main group are standing in front of a backdrop in a studio??

Could they have used various clothing, chosen from the photographer's prop box 

This would explain some of the discrepancies.

                Don't think so. If you look behind the lady on the far right, it looks has if someone has

                walked in from behind, i.e. motion blur. Possible another member of the crew.
