Tombstone AZ 1880's - Wilfred Heyes
« on: Tuesday 07 May 19 11:50 BST (UK) »
I am looking for any details I can find on a Wilfred Alfred Heyes, born in Liverpool around 1833 who I believe was working in Tombstone around 1881 as a watchmaker.

From Ancestry I have the 1881 & 1882 Voter Registrations showing him in Cochise, Arizona and the Arizona Territorial Census from 1882 just showing him as resident in Arizona.

His brother Richard died in San Francisco in 1881 and in one of the newspaper reports it says Wilfred lived in Tombstone.

I was wondering if anyone had access to any business directories or documentation that might be able to help me fill out more details of Wilfred's life.  I haven't been able to find a death or burial record for him either and have no idea if he married.

Any an all help greatly appreciated.

Slight typo - should be born 1833  ???

Single in 1881 - https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MH24-BSS

Elusive after 1882................ ::)

Thank's Sandra, I've corrected the original posting.  Guess I was getting a little over excited.

1904 - middle initial and occupation not quite right though.
