Hello Dave.
George was born 1817 Bap. 17th November 1822. Cross St was where they all lived from 1822 and Deardens Dir. has him at Cross St as a shoemaker in 1825 aged 46yrs.
Yes, I believe Elizabeth's age was mistranscribed.
Maggie

There are two on FindMyPast for the date and place you have, National Burial index (age 30) and Nottinghamshire burial index (age 20)

Hello Larkspur.
The info I found was " Elizabeth Granger -Father William 12 April 1780 Notts St Marys. Eng&Wales Christening 1530-1906" Would it be a different set of info as it was Christening and not Baptism?
I wrote it down as I read it as I didn't want to forget the source. I'll have to see if I can buy the CD somewhere.

One problem with some records from the LDS in the past was that they included entries submitted by patrons and were not necessarily in the relevant register ie. they had been invented.  Larkspur has given information from the Notts FHS transcripts, to be really sure you need to have someone look at the original register.
