Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could help me to decipher the first word here '...... wound'. And if anyone knows what all these symptoms add up to, I would be grateful if you could provide that information. I thought that it might have been suicide by hanging.

I am not sure what the first word is (yet) but I was wondering if he, or some other person, may have slit his throat.  :( It sounds like he might have been coughing up blood which could have been due to a lung illness but the mention of "wound" makes me wonder ....

Just a wild guess which is likely to be horribly wrong.  :)

Got me stumped! Best I can come up with is nasal wound?  It looks like mesial, but that's to do with teeth as far as I know.
I was also wondering at mortal wound if he missed the crossbar off "t"

I am wondering if the first 2 letters MIGHT be 'In' rather than M ---- but I have tried googling likely words starting with both 'In' and 'M' -- but nothing obvious comes up.

If his/her throat was slit -- is there anything in the on line newspapers about the event?

(Bookbox just beat me to it with that suggestion!)
