Hi
I am looking for any information on J DALY RN . D/KX159643. so far I only know that he was awarded the Atlantic star.
Any input would be appreciated.

There will be little or nothing to be found on line as all WW2 service records are still with the Ministry of Defence   https://www.gov.uk/get-copy-military-service-records/apply-for-someone-elses-records

If that really is all you know then an application for his record can't be made (no death cert/date of birth) and suggesting public family trees, births marriages and death records and local newspapers won't work.  Is it that you have his medal and are hoping to track the owner?  Facebook and other such miracles/curses of the modern age???

Yes, you have hit the nail on the head!!!!, I picked up a medal, as it is in my family tree, not sure who he is and was hoping to add some facts.
