Do you think you could help me find my great grandparents' jobs or any other information about them? Thank you!

1. James West (Born in 1922 in Hull).
2. Dorothy Maddra (Born in 1931 in Hull, died in 2002 in Hull).
3. Albert Henry Cawthorn (Born in 1911 in Hull, died in 1998).
4. Winifred Jackson (Born in 1922 in Hull, died in 2016 in Hull).
5. Gilbert Midwood Croshaw (Born in 1912, died in 1960 in Beverley).
6. Rose Alice Goffin (Born in 1909 in Hull, died in 2002 in Hull).
7. Thomas Roy Baines (Born in 1900, died in 1977 in Hull).
8. Winifred Petch (Born in 1913 in Hull, died in 1988).

Have you tried looking for them on the 1939 Register?

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!

Number 5 looks a good name - did you not find him on the register?

He can be found  :)

Ladies are usually described as - unpaid domestic duties.
Hinchliffe - Huddersfield Wiltshire

Pick - Frocester Glos

Their marriage and death certificates will show their occupation; it will also be shown on the birth certificate if they had children.
