Hi Jo,
I am sorry, I am making it confusing  :). I have:
Robert Wissett born 1718?, died  May 1766 Lavenham, blacksmith (unknown wife)
Children:
Robert Wissett born 1747, died Dec 1766 (don't know anything about him)
Martha Wissett born 1731, died 1793 (married Samuel Rutter)
Henry Wissett born 1747 died 1786 Lavenham (married Ann Childs)-their daughter Ann Wissett born 1773) Clockmaker Lavenham. Ann was an orphan at 13 and I wonder if she lived with Martha until she died. She is my direct ancestor
So the marriage of Robert Wissett and Martha might be the parent's of Robert Wissett born 1718?leading to the remark that this Robert could be the right age if born in 1689 but I don't know that for a fact. They might be related to Thomas Wissett (blacksmith) and Rachel Hunt. I either made this more clear or less.
I really appreciate all of the help!
