Slight tangent folks. Was Colleen's father William related to the Bendigo or Ballarat Swinnerton's? I can't find William Colin Swinnerton's death listed in the Victorian BDM.

Can you  please confirm that you already know he is no longer living?  Vic bdm does not display registrations for events that are still within their restricted access time frames.  :)

Excellent point Majm,

I do know he has passed but forgot the 30 yr embargo on Vic BDM. Explains why I could not see it.

Thanks CupOfLife, hadn't realised the Swinnertons have been covered. I'll have to contact the author for a few additions to the Swinnerton history in Ballarat.

The take home message is the Ballarat and Bendigo Swinnerton's are related only in the old home country.

Hi guys,

Thanks for the further information.
The Swinnerton's families in both Ballarat and Bendigo
are related through a William Swinnerton and Eliza McQuade.
