Can anyone please help ? What details are on an Irish birth certificate? Can anyone do a look up ?
Bernard McDonagh born January 1922 father is Patrick McDonagh, thats all I have. Bernard is not on the 1939 register because it only covered England and Wales, he's obviously not on a census, at the time of his marriage in 1945 in Wales he gave his home address as Strand Street Eniskillen. Am doing this for a friend and trying to keep within her budget, Bernard was her Grandfather. He died in Wales in 1985.  :)
Births less than 100 years old are not online so you'll need to contact GRONI, Belfast to order a certificate- click on 'order a birth certificate'

This might tie in with 1911 census link posted earlier-
Londonderry Sentinel, 22 Dec.1942: ALLEGATIONS …  held at Castlederg Saturday, before Mr. J. S. Crockett, J.P., James McDonagh and his son, Thomas McDonagh, both of Bridge Street, Irvinestown, and Bernard Doherty, Back Street, Irvinestown, who was stated belong to Eire, were charged with the larceny ...

This one looks like the family in 1911 link-
Fermanagh Herald, 23 Oct.1909: SCENE AT IRVINESTOWN STATION. SON CUSTODY-MOTHER BRINGS HIM A ROME OF WHISKEY. SEQUEL AT PETTY SESSIONS. At the Irvinestown Petty Sessions on Friday, Mr. J. Gray, R.M., presiding, Cassie M`Donagh, lrvinestown, was summoned by the Great Northern Railway for using obscene language on their premises and also with _ the company 's officers …

Lots more along these same lines over a long period.

with Births...... make sure Mother's maiden name on certs matches!

For example there could be 2 couples named  PATRICK and   MARY MCDONAGH in the same area having children, often people just see PATRICK and   MARY  and assume children are Siblings, many never even check what the mother's maiden name is on cert,

There are several pay sites that have local newspapers in their collections. Find My Past has lots of newspapers for that area.
